Question about Renting DVC Points & FP+

I'm so sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question, but I wasn't sure where else to put it!

We are considering renting DVC points for the first time and I was wondering how that works with FP+. Will we still be able to book our FP+ at 60 days prior to check-in?

Also, I've already booked several of our ADRs. Anybody know if I cancel our current room reservation, will I lose those or can they be transferred to the new DVC reservation?

Yes, a rented reservation gets you all the same onsite perks as someone who booked with Disney on a cash reservation.

The ADRs are not attached to your room reservation, canceling the room reservation won't affect ADRs you've already made.

Awesome! Thank you for the quick response! I'm a little anxious about renting points, but it's hard to pass up such a good deal. We've currently got a Little Mermaid room booked at AoA, but for the same price I can get a Studio at AKL. Hard to beat that!

It gets you all the same onsite perks except for daily housekeeping.

Just remember you wont have two beds in the AKV studio.
