Question about renewing AP and FP

My AP expires on 11/12. Our next trip begins on 11/16. Can I make FP online ahead of time even if I don't renew my AP until I get to WDW? Or will those FP's get wiped out on 11/12 when my AP expires and I haven't renewed it?

I would say no since you won't have tickets that will be valid on 11/16.

That's what I thought but wasn't sure since you do have a month to renew after expiration. Probably won't chance waiting.

I'm not sure you'll even be able to make those fp+ reservations until you renew your ap, since it won't be valid admission for those dates.

The system will not let you make FP+ reservations after the expiration date of your current pass. I have a reservation that starts 5 days before the expiration date of my AP. The system wouldn't allow any FP+ after the expiration date. If you want to set up you FP+ you can purchase your renewal ahead of time. You then go into MDE and enter the will call # you are given for the renewal. The system will then let you do FP+ beyond the expiration date of your current pass.
