Question about renewing an AP

I am going to WDW next month. My son will not be with me. Can I renew his AP while I am there at guest relations or does he have to be with me to do that? The reason I want to do it in person is so that I can use apple pay to pay for it since there is 10% promotion rewards going on.

FYI, Guest Relations is not the 'go-to' place to renew Passes. I used to think that was the case, I think ages ago it was (when they had your photo on them etc) but you can go to any ticket window now and get them renewed.

Honestly the way things are changing, I'd get that renewal cert done online ASAP when that window opens and I would bring it with you.

Bring every piece of paper you can, print everything, bring mailings with you. Renew online if you are in your window....
