Question about Refillable Mugs at Water Parks

I was wondering if the refillable mugs at the water parks are good throughout your trip (i.e. If I go to BB on Monday, could I use it again on Wednesday?)

Also, do the water parks have the same mugs, something like POFQ and POR where you can use the mug at either place?

I'm not trying to "get around" anything, I'm just trying to decide if it would be worth the $ to buy the mugs at the water parks or not. We've never been to a water park at Disney before so I'm clueless. Thanks for any help.

Here's how it worked last year when we were there....
First trip to a water park you purchase a mug (thinking like $10 but not real sure) and it comes with a day's worth of refills (there is a barcode you scan to activate the drink dispenser) then you can take the mug with you on any later visit and purchase a new barcode for a lesser amount (thinking $5 but again I don't remember) and that will get you refills for that day.

The first day the drinks are free. For each additional day you are there you would have to buy a sticker for the drinks. The soda machine will not work without the correct bar code. Cost is $5 per sticker.

Yes. We have a BB mug from a few years ago that we bring back. Have some cash on you as you enter because I can remember getting the bar code sticker as we were walking in outside the gates, but I had to dig for cash. They were also selling the mugs as well.
