My sister is going on a DCL 7 day cruise on feb 6th...we went last december and checked out the prices of booking another cruise then. We decided to wait and ask my sister if she would be interested in going again with us sometime in 2006....

:cool1: of course, she agreed and we have been discussing on possible dates before she leaves.

My question is can she book another cruise for us and for her and get the discount for BOTH of our families? I have given her my Castaway club member number and my credit card number so that she can get us 2 adjoining statrooms if possible....

Anyone know about this?

hmmm good question, I'm not sure. I hope someone more experienced can help. I do think it would be possible for her to reserve two rooms with the discount but possibly may have to go on her credit card and you'd have to pay her back.

Maybe she can reserve one room and her spouse the second room while on board as separate transactions. You can then pay her back for one of the rooms. I don't think it matters who actually occupies the room or who has a credit card for expenses during the cruise, they both will need to be aboard to get the room keys, though....I think.

You should get all the discounts that way.

I was able to book two cabins while onboard - one for my family and one for my sister's family. Discount and shipboard credit were applied to each reservation. Of course, I had to put the deposits down on both rooms and charged both to my credit card.

I also was able to book 2 rooms while onboard...one for us and one for my parents (who were not with us on that trip). They also received the discount and room credit.
