Question about Quick Svc - Non -DDP

Help! We have always used the DDP and now that our kids are older, and tend to order more off the appetizer menus vs entrees, we have decided to pay OOP for our upcoming vacation. So I'm crunching numbers and trying to set a food budget. My question is...if paying out of pocket, does a quick service meal include a drink or is everything a la carte? I have been googling all day and have even called dining and can only find info regarding the DDP.

A la cart. Since we too no longer do the DDP I buy the kids a large soda to share. While I no longer drink soda, DH and I would share too. Cheaper than two regular drinks. Plus if you get no or little ice then you get more beverage for your money. Call me cheap, but it's what we do.

Kids meals often come with drinks, though.

(Know the kids are older, but I often get kids meals myself which is why I'm chiming in).

Cups of water are always free at QS places, too.

if you are at the resort...and you get breakfsst lunch or dinner..there....your refillable mug would come in handy...and like the previous person said...I sometimes get a kids meal also..because the meals are to big for me on the diabetic way of eating..

Thanks for the responses! I figured that would be the case.. but thought I'd ask anyway I just want to be sure to plan accordingly.
