Question about QS ordering

Hello. I have a question about ordering meals. We will have 4 adults on our plan. Me, Hubby and two teen boys. We are purchasing the Quick Service Meal Plan. From what I've read on here you cannot order more meals at one time then the amount of people on the plan. (For us that woudl be 4 meals at a time.) Sometimes my older son will get two of the indiv. pizzas. So , say we were ordering. Could my husband use his card and order three meals, ( One for him, one for younger son, and one for older son) Then I get in another line and order two meals ( one for me, and the second pizza for my older son)? I'm not trying to cheat, I'm using my own credits I've paid for. I'm just ordering one extra meal.

I am assuming that every persons card is loaded with the entire amount of credits for the entire trip and not just their own individual credits correct?

I hope the post makes sense and you understand what I'm asking.

I agree. As you said, you're using credits you've paid for, not trying to get an "adult" meal on a child's ticket or anything else that would be considered cheating. I don't think there'd be a problem, however, I've never used QSDP, just the regular one.

I have read before you can use your credits whenever you want, as many as you want as long as you are using them for someone on the dining plan, and when you are out of credits, then you are done. I have also read people loading up on snacks the last day to use their credits, so you should be able to do it, and I don't think it's cheating.

I've never had them question while on the QSDP. Last month with two of us on the plan, I ordered three meals without any problem.

The credits are in your DDP account in the computer system, not on your cards. Your cards have your account number not the actual credits.

Yes you can. We have. However, we have also been able to order more than our person count (i.e. 3 meals) at once. Particularly when we use our last CS credits to get meals for the plane, etc. We've used 6 at once and not had a problem at Gasparilla Grill at GF. We were ready to have it rung up 2 separate times but cashier said we didn't need to.

You might do better if you just pay oop for the 1 extra pizza. Because if you use a QS credit you will be getting another medium drink and dessert.

Thanks so much for the responses. I really appreciate the feedback. This will be our first time using the Dining Plan. We've been going to Disney for 16 years now. I've never used the original dining plan because it includes a ts meal. We are not the type of family that plans ahead for where we are going to be nor do we want to stop what we are doing to be somewhere else for our Ts meal. I'm sure this works just great for others, and I think its a fantastic deal, just not right for us. We like to kinda just go with the flow on what and where we want to be when we want to be there. We do table service but I'm fine with paying OOP. So when I saw the QS dining plan I thought that would be perfect for us. We will be there for 19 days so , just the convenience of having the meals paid for ahead of time and not carrying that much money with us is great. My only worry was if I wanted to order that "extra" meal would there be an issue. And again, it has nothing to do with trying to "cheat" the system. I am paying for 4 adults ( me, hubby, 16 yr old son and 14 yr old son) so no child meals come into play here. But as someone also stated I may just want to pay oop for that extra pizza because we will not need that extra drink or dessert. Thanks so much for the help. Much appreciated as always
