Question about purchasing tickets through Costco

Hello! I’m new to this board and had a trip-planning question. If purchasing through Costco, does the member need to be attending the trip to use the package?

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the member can buy the package and then gift it to someone else with no problem. Just have to send the ticket information to the intended recipients. Hopefully someone else has more definitive answer for you though!
