I am planning to print the canadian mickey head and do an iron on transfer. The image is Red and White. The shirt I am using is grey, the general lightish to med grey. Do I need regular iron on transfers or do I need ones for dark shirts?

TIA
ERin

Dark. If you use light transfers, the design assumes that the white part of the design is 'clear', so when you iron on, you will get red and grey (where the design is clear) not red and white. If you use dark, the paper is actually white, so you get a red and white image. You also need to print the image as a mirror image for dark paper, but the instructions should tell you this.

Don't ask how I know this............!!!

My personal opinion is that you need Amy's transfer paper - are you aware of this paper? It is brilliant, and well-loved by the DISers. Amy can't advertise her website here, so if you want to know more just shout ;-)

I use Amy's transfers (she sells dark only) on all shirt colors from white to black and everything in between.

Same here with the transfers, but whatever you get FOLLOW the INSTRUCTIONS. ask me how I know:lmao::scared1: Penny
