Question about print transfers?

I was going to print a transfer this morning (around 8am) and then maybe try to iron it tonight. (around 8pm) Is that enough time for it to set?

The reason I am asking is I saw on the detailed instructions post someone posted that it should sit for a day. Does that mean 24 hours or just the whole day time? lol

Well, I never did it this way. I usally printed the transfer, then ironed it right on...I guess I never read that I should wait..so far my shirts have held up...

Thanks! I guess that means that I should be ok with letting it set for 12 hours. ;) lol

Now, I just have to decide how I am going to do it. I have one transfer I want to try out on my baby's shirt first. (Sort of a practice shirt, since I have a backup shirt for her.) But, it doesn't take up the whole page and I am not sure if I want to print some other small transfers for other shirts on the same transfer sheet with it, as to not waste the transfer sheet. It won't hurt the other transfers to sit a day or two if I don't get to iron them on right away will it?

Ok, according to the 20 steps of making an iron on post I am on step 13 already! Well, at least for my first shirt! :lmao:

Any last minute tips/advice that maybe isn't on that other post? ;)
