Hello!

I was reading the menu description on allears, and it shows that they bring the food to the table, which is GREAT! (less chance of having to race back to not miss the characters...been there done that a few times)

Now...it says that there is a photo package?!?! :cool1: Is it just a little photo, or is it a 5x7, or??

Also it says that softdrinks and dessert are included?? I am hoping that is an error...in the morning, would it include juice, milk , coffee, tea?

thanks for your help :O)

They also have a small buffett (they have bagels, pastries, fruit, and few other things) on top of the tray of food they bring you. The tray has eggs, cheesy potatoes, bacon and sausage.

The pictures that they include is and 8x10 and 2 smaller ones (4x6 maybe)

You can get anything you want to drink. My hubby drinks soda anytime of the day, so he got that, I had coffee and juice.

That's funny, my DH drinks soda at all times of the day as well. With that said, you won't go wrong at Akershus. That is our favorite Princess dining. They have great character interaction and awesome cheesy potatoes. The photo is with Belle in her yellow dress before you are seated. Have fun, we are going to be eating there this December.

I just saw a post elsewhere where the person said there were 4 princesses in the photo! wow!

and YUMMMMMMMMMMM CHEESY POTATO...SOLD on that!!! LOL

I can't comment on a dinner menu, as we've only done lunch and breakfast here, but I can tell you that your photo package will only include one princess - most likely Belle in her yellow gown. :goodvibes The other princesses (usually 4 others) will rotate through the dining room during your meal.

well that makes the most sense to me!!!! we are *hoping* for Snow White, we know its a crap shoot....but my dd will be happy with any of the princesses.

We were there last month and the main princess was Belle in her yellow dress. Then Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White came to the table. We LOVED the food...the fresh fruit at the buffet was sooooo good, (I'm not a huge breakfast eater, but those potatoes were YUMMY)

I was very impressed with the breakfast!! Just an enjoyable time for all of us!!!:)

Do you all think it is too late to get my dd on the list for her b-day, she will be 5 on sept. 30th? Who do I call to try?

We ate there last week. First, don't check in till close to your seating time. They are very busy and won't check you in early like most places. We weren't seated till 25 minutes AFTER our time.

When you're called, you stand in line to meet Belle. They take your photo. You're seated for b/fast. The server will bring you juice, coffee, and milk. You help yourself from the cold buffet, pastries, hard boiled eggs, fruit, lox, etc. The server will bring you a family style plate of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. They refill the plate as you like. The princesses come around. We saw Cindy, Aurora, Auriel, and Snow White. Someone comes with your photo package "as a gift from Belle." We received a 8x10 and 4 5x7's in a nice holder with the name of the restaurant.

The main reason for eating here are the Princesses. The food was OK, not a lot of variety. The meal price is expensive as it includes the photo's. If you're on the dining plan, it's 1 TS (where the Castle is 2TS).

Good to know! That's way it costs more then other character breakfasts.
Can't wait to try it!

We've been there a few times. Photo at the door on each of our trips has been Belle. Then there will be at least four or five princess walking around. They make certain to hit every table and spend time with every child. This is a rushed sign the book, smile and move on. The food at breakfast is great!

We LOVE the character interaction at Akershus. When we were there in March, my DD8 was talking to Jasmine (her all time favorite princess and the only reason why she likes to eat there) and I had happen to mention to Jasmine that she was her biggest fan. Jasmine was so happy and giddy about it and started asking my DD if she had seen her movie, which she replied "yes all three of them". Jasmine got so excited and then got down to her level (DD was sitting) and started asking her what her favorite part of each of the different movies were, then after that she asked my DD to sing "A Whole New World" with her which was amazing (yes we got it all on tape). My DD still talks about it and how that was the BEST character meal that we had been to ever :goodvibes. Well we are going back to Disney again in December and before we were booking our ADRs, we planned on going to CRT so my DD6 can see the inside of Cinderella's castle, but my DH wanted to go back to Akershus as well because he wants that to be a Family tradition...I thought that may be too much Princess interaction, especially for my DD8, so we asked her what she wanted to do...of course she wanted to go see/talk with Jasmine again at Akershus. Well evidentally we are doing both (CRT dinner and Akershus breakfast so both girls can be happy).
