question about prices on booking

We will be doing our first cruise December 2017 4 night Bahamas. Looking at the fall bookings for October 2018 that will be released this week. If I book opening day to lock in my pricing, does this also lock in the concierge prices also? Thinking of booking family veranda room initially but considering the concierge family room instead. thanks

Yes. If you change categories on the same cruise, you are locked into the prices as they stood on the day you made the original booking.

Just be aware that the non-concierge deposit is refundable (before PIF) but if you book concierge that deposit is no longer refundable even if you downgrade to a non-concierge stateroom. And if you convert from non-concierge to concierge, the deposit will no longer be refundable.
