Question about "pre-plated" meals

What exactly does pre-plated mean? Does it mean there are no deletions?

For example, can we get the CRT pre-plated breakfast w/o the bacon and sausage? Or are the plates already made up?

I don't know about breakfast, but at dinner, I asked for a substitution on one of the items and was able to get it without issue. Generally pre-plated means that you don't get to choose each individual item on the plate, but I've never had a problem asking them to leave something off. All they can say is no.

Generally means that instead of a buffet line the the servers bring your food to you on a plate so you do not have to get it yourself. You should have no problems asking your server to leave some thing off your plate when they bring it as Disney would not want to waste that food any more than you would.
