Question about posting pictures on this site?

I was wondering if someone can tell me how to post pictures so they aren't so small. I've seen them posted on here all different sizes but can't figure out how to get them bigger.

I use photobucket and just copy and paste the img address into my post. Is there something else I need or should be doing?

You can resize your photo in photobucket.

perhaps you need to be uploading them in a larger size. ON the upload screen there is a drop down that has sizes. I always upload in large and then if I need it smaller, I can always change the size later on.

With Photobucket, you can change the size later on, but I find that it's easier to upload in several sizes. I insert one in my post, and then click on Preview Post. If the picture looks too large or small, I delete it and insert one that I saved in a different size. Here are my instructions:

When you are in Photobucket:
Under UPLOAD IMAGES AND VIDEO
First, use the pull-down menu and click on the size you want the uploaded photo to be.
100 x 75 tiny
160 x 120 small
320 x 240 medium
640 x 480 large
800 x 600 15-inch screen
1024 x 768 17-inch screen
1 megabyte file size

Then click on CHOOSE FILES

Go through the listed files on your computer until you see the photo you want to upload.
