Question about Poly package

We will be staying at the Poly for 4 nights prior to our 3 day trip on the Wonder. We are staying off site the night before we can check in. I was under the impression that you could go to your Disney resort to pick up your tickets prior to check in time. We were planning to do this on Sunday moring and head to the park for the day. Is there a specific place to do this at the Poly? I can imagine that there will be a big line for people checking out in the morning. Can people tell me about how this has worked for them in the past? We booked our trip prior to the disney my way package deals.We have parkhopper ultra tickets . Thanks.

You can checkin anytime at the front desk. Your room may not be ready, but you can get your park tickets.

We checked in around 10 am at the Poly this past December and there was no line at all- we just walked up. I think most people have a cc on file so they don't have to wait in line to check out, they just leave. -Steph

You didn't mention if you may be staying concierge but if you are the Poly concierge guests have their own lobby and you can get your tickets there.

Thanks for the info. No we didn't book the concierge room. I had been reading a lot of posts lately about people needing to wait a really long time to check in. Maybe they were talking about checking in later in the day. I would like to get a full day in at the park on check in day. The day we leave for the ship is a wash. I still don't understand how people have been able to use their tickets on the day they board the ship. I also noticed that there is no early entry on Thursday AM , the day our ship leaves.
