Question about point transfers

I'm new to the DVC. We bought into the Animal Kingdom.
So our points can't be used until May 2009.

Can I buy points from someone else to be transfered into our account and use them this winter?

Yes, you can. But you probably won't find much availability for the next four or five months. It would be very limited availability. Maybe a night here, a night there.
