Question about Plaza Restaurant

If you're paying OOP, it's one of the best table service values in the parks. And the food is pretty good -- basic stuff, but done well.

The DDP does not work for us cost-wise, so we go the OOP route.

I eat there every time I go. I admit I haven't had dinner there before, but I've always been on the DDP and it's not the best value for that. This next trip we will be OOP and I already have my ADR there. Can't wait!

We had a great meal here! The restaurant is pretty inside & had a very simple menu. Do not expect a gourmet meal here, but the food is really good, in my opinion.

We shared a side salad:

I got the turkey club, DH got the burger and we split them both. They were both really good, as were the french fries and homemade chips:

No bathroom- yep that is a deal breaker for us. Guess we will try Liberty instead since it is the other TS in MK we have not tried.

The bathroom is steps away.

I'm reading these posts to my family and they want me to tell everyone that the Plaza is the worst restaurant in all of Disney. It is true, they can be selfish, self serving urchins who want to keep the Plaza all to our selves. It's one of their favorites! So it's great just not when we're there!

We ate dinner at the Plaza in 2010. I loved it! It's such a quaint place. The food was really good. We are eating there again when we go in June. can't wait!

We have an ADR there for our next visit in mid-April; I am really happy to be reading all these positive posts! our ADR is at 7:30 pm. I am just wondering how quick the service is; and if we will be done before the parade starts @ 9 pm?

And, if anyone has thoughts on how crowded that area will be before the parade starts? I am just wondering if I should move up the time . . . We are going with a family that has never been to WDW, and I am a little bit afraid that the whole Parade/MM&Y/Wishes crowd on Main Street will be too much to take, but I don't think we will have time to make it to Frontierland or Liberty Square for a less crowded parade experience. We have been to WDW 3 times now, but have never braved Main Street for the parade, etc.
