Question about planning trip next year...

I want to plan a trip to WDW for March of 2009 but when I get on Disney.com it will not allow me to even price a trip yet....is it too early to make reservations?? I have been to WDW twice but my mom always made reservations....I am planning on adding dining plan and making reservations for meals (I know I can do that 180 days in advance) Anyone help?? Thanks!

This far in advance, you can call Disney for a "quote" on a room only and place a hold if you desire (one night's deposit). They price the room only out at the highest possible rate, until the real rates are released. Packages for 2009 will come out sometime in the summer. At that point you will be able to get a true price for your package including dining.

used to be you could plan a year ahead....not so much anymore!
I agree, the prices for march will probably be released in June/July.
If you aren't doing a pkg., buy your park hoppers at your local disney store.
It is also never too early to dream--get a list going of what places you would like to eat. Have family "planning" dinners.....we love talking about our favorite places over dinner!
