Question about Planet Hollywood Vouchers with package.

I just booked my Oct. trip with the dining package and on the info I was sent it had something about a Planet Hollywood meal and merchandise vouchers. When I called Disney Travel the CM told me that just meant more luggage tags???? She told me we have the dining plan so they wouldn't send me extra things such as that. I do not get it! Has this happened to anybody else? Does anyone know what this is? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Melissa

We have the dining plan and we received a voucher for a meal and one for a gift.

I just received my tickets for my trip next week - and to my surprise I received a voucher for a meal and one for a free gift.

I didnt even know about it.

We just used our Planet Hollywood voucher last week. It was good for one free burger platter or Ceasar salad or a pasta dish and one non-alcoholic beverage. I didn't get the free "gift" because I read that it's something like a keychain or pin or something I was completely uninterested in. The meal voucher (for a burger platter) was worth almost $15. The restaurant is fun and very interesting (a big ball) and the food was ok but I normally would be way too cheap to pay $30 for 2 burgers and 2 cokes.

Is the voucher good for just one meal? Or one for each in your party? I show on my reservation that I have a voucher also, and have been meaning to ask this very question. Thanks to the OP for reminding me.

We just used our Planet Hollywood voucher last week.

We arrive at WDW on Saturday and had read somewhere that the voucher was only good 11a-6p. However in reading the meal voucher from AAA it doesn't have any time restrictions. The souveiner voucher though states that it is only available between 11a-6p.

Am I correct in assuming the food voucher is good at any time? Say this Saturday evening? Would I be wise to make an ADR if we're planning to eat sometime between 7p-9p?

Now, a CM at the reservation line told me that the voucher was good for the whole party, not just "one" person?

If that's the case we may skip it... we would rather eat at Earl of Sandwich.

We did not have the dining plan and still got a voucher. We could only use one voucher at a time (I happened to get two because I had to make ticket changes.) We ate lunch there, but I can't remember time restrictions. DH and I ate there kind of by accident on the day my parents took our kids. We went to Disney Quest when they opened at 11:30am and finished there so quickly we decided to use our Planet Hollywood voucher rather than eat at DQ.

Planet Hollywood is on the West Side of DTD and is quite a hike from Marketplace. Personally, I didn't think the food, or even the atmosphere was worth the price. I totally prefer Earl of Sandwich!

I got a voucher too. It was part of the ticket package I purchased (when they upgraded the hoppers to include the water parks). As I understand it, it is just for one person, not my entire party.

I made a reservation change and got a 2nd voucher (still in my name). Not sure if I will need to use it at seperate times or if I can give it to my DH. I figure it out in 2 weeks!!
