I received the free dining pin and I am so anxious to book, sadly my aunt did not receive the pin and she and her family are coming with us. So my question is, if she books tomorrow and gets a pin in 3 weeks can she apply it to her room and have the rates adjusted? Also, if an offer goes out to the public can she have her rate adjusted?

I really am thinking of booking tonight for Aug 20th-27th, if we should change our minds and go a different month (say June) what would happen with the money that I have put down?

Yes. No problem.

Yes. No problem again.

Disney keeps it... for their trouble. :)

Just kidding.

They will move it to your new reservation provided both are packages. Easy. I love it when the questions are easy. :)

So.....should I book NOW?! LOL I am so anxious and excited!

Usually with a pin you can book 3 rooms...your reservations just have to be linked.

I recd the free dining pin last year and was able to apply it to our reservation, and a friends reservation that were going the same time we were!

Was their room under their name? Was it I guess you could say 2 separate accounts yours, and then your friends package?

You need to call in the PIN, and each of the rooms will be under a different lead name, have their own ressie #, and need their own deposit. Also, if you guys are a party of 8 or more, you will be a grand gathering, so be sure and let Disney know that as well! The grand gathering will also help link the ressies. If you don't have 8 people, be sure and get the ressies linked!

I had 3 rooms on my PIN, until one of my friends had to move her trip. Now it's just us & our BFF's. We are still a GG, thanks to all the kids :rotfl:. You get a few extra options on GG, plus when you call in, you go to a GG reservationist, and sometimes the wait time is a bit shorter!

Can I link them if we are not at the same resort?

ok I spoke with a CM last night who said he could do it as other posters said up to 2 additional rooms, and my aunt spoke with a CM who said she never heard of that :confused3
my family cannot make up their minds lol
Can this be done even though we are @ 2 different resorts?

I *think* you can do two different resorts, I'm going to double check for you really quick.

If you ever get an answer you don't like from a CM, call back and get another one!! My first CM told me I couldn't use my PIN, for more than room. I called back later, and the CM was more than happy to do it.

Okay, just spoke with a wonderful CM who read the rules for your PIN, then went and asked (put me on hold for a bit) and said that YES you can book up to 3 rooms, and they can be at different resorts. He said they prefer that they be in the same place, but you can book 2 different places.

I hope this helps! :goodvibes

Thank you so much, I agree, I think it depends what CM you talk to. It seems that some are more helpful than others. So hopefully I can get a hold of a CM who is willing to do this for us.

What would be the best way to go about doing this? My aunt wants to do a three way conference call so I could give my pin # info and she could give her credit card.
I was thinking she should just call make the reservation and then I should call and see if they could apply the pin to the reservation she already made. What do you think?

That's a good question. Would your aunt be willing to call you with her CCard number, and just let you set up the reservation? You need to have everyone's info (all the people in the traveling party).

If she doesn't want to give you the ccard #, you could set her ressie up, put the 7 day courtesy hold on it, have her call back with the ressie # and apply the deposit payment.

Or, if you wanted, you could use a Disney specialist TA that would help you plan this out and get the booking for you. They would make all the ADR's, possible grand gathering experiences (if you guys qualify), itineraries...

I was also thinking the courtesy hold as another option, maybe that is what we will do.
Thank you so much!

I think that is the easiest/best option! Just be sure you have everyone's info, so you can set the ressie up (kids ages, too!).
