Question ABout Pin Trading With Host

Can someone explain to me how pin trading with a host works-I know they wil have Winter Summerland Trade which involves pin trading in host room tonight but we're not sure exactly how or what to do? Also is it one of those rooms where if you're more than 200 or so back forget it???

You just wait in line, then when you get up to the host, they'll trade with you. You give them any 500 credit pin (the weekend pins) and you can choose any one of the pins they're wearing to trade to you.

To answer your second question, simply put, yes. These lines are about the slowest lines you can be in.

this line will move slowly, cant tell you how many an hour it moves, but the host has to trade with each person individually so it does not move quickly.

Its been my experience that on average the line moves about 1 person per minute. And this takes into consideration Phinny dc'ing at least once or twice during the trades. So I figure if I don't get in under the 200 people in line mark, then i won't get in. 3 hours = 180 minutes = 180 people. Now this has a lot of room for error either way, i was just giving you some idea of how slow the line moves. Happy Pin trading!!

So what kind of pins do we give?? Are there certain pins we have to give??

Does it have to be a "weekend" pin??

Can it be a quest pin?? Or a pin you can buy (like the 250 credit HK pin) in the Emporium?

What about the Nemo pin?? Can we give that??

First there will be no inferno... you have to pick a pin she is wearing on her lanyard. The newsletter gives a hint it will be last years pins (just like pirates month had last years) and I bet a couple jungle cruise pins again.

Yes host pins are accepted. I traded club33 and matterhorn pins at the trading events last month

It will slow down. That happens right at the beginning as people are trying to get in. It will all of a sudden stop counting down and go real slow after that.

Just wanted to say what a trooper Phinny is though, she really does -Rock- at the pin trade thing. I'd be tearing my (virtual) hair out.
