We have one full day free that we plan to use exclusively for pin trading throughout WDW. Here's the catch - since we are only in WDW for 3 days, we do not have park passes (this trip to WDW is mostly a warm-up for our cruise!). We are staying at CBR. We will be using Disney transportation. Here's my current basic plan:

Start at CBR

Go to Downtown Disney, pin trade all the way up and down...

Go to Contemporary, trade there.

Monorail to Poly, trade there.

Walk to GF, trade there.

Monorail to MK. (Don't know if we can do any trading there without entering park).

Bus back to CBR.

Allowing for food breaks, this plan could take most all day. So...

Any suggestions or better plans?? What about Boardwalk, is there trading to be had there? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

What day, Wed., Thurs., ....., are you plannig on doing this? If you are there on a Friday you should stop by the 4th floor of the Contemporary around 7pm. There is a big pin meet there every Friday.

When I was there in Aug. I found very few traders are at WoD before 5 on a weekday. Weekends you could find someone there most of the time.

The 2 best places I found were the Contemporary and Pin Central in Epcot. I found very little non-CM trading going on at either the GF or the Poly. But you never know what will happen if you open up your pin book and hang out at a pin cart for a while. Someone is bound to stop by.

Later in the day at Boardwalk you should find someone. The pin cart ther oes not open until late afternoon.

Do be careful at the WoD. Those are shark infested waters.

For guest trading --

If it's Friday, you have the Contemporary meet in the evening.

DTD - WoD: any evening, all day on weekends -- but take care.

Also in DTD, near the pin cart across from the Pooh store. Traders sometimes sit around on the low brick walls.

Traffic at Epcot pin central seems to be pretty steady from midday on weekdays, and heavier on weekends.

Overall, most important: Take care. If a trade feels wrong, say "no thank you." The pin will come your way again.

Raul had a response on one of the threads on the Collectors board about shark tactics. It was a riot to read, but the underlying truth was right on target. I think it was sometime last night.... You might look back for it.

Oh, and don't forget to have a great time! :D
