Question about PIN Codes

Can PIN codes be added to an existing reservation? We have a short trip booked in February with the 20% discount on moderates. Yesterday, I received a PIN code in the mail for 25% off moderates. I went through the online booking process, but a standard view room at Coronado Springs wasn't available (just a King at a higher price point than our current reservation).

Is it worth calling to see if they'll add the PIN code or not? I know that certain blocks of rooms are set aside for certain discounts, so I don't want to waste my time if the room-type being unavailable online means they won't let me use the PIN code for the existing reservation.

If you searched on the site using the pin code and your room wasn't available you won't be able to apply it to your existing reservation...but keep checking! Thats my understanding at least.

I agree! When I got one for our trip last December I kept checking and eventually got the room I wanted! It originally wasn't available - so there is hope! We just got this pin code as well...but won't be using it since our trip doesnt fall within the dates

This gives me hope! I will keep my fingers crossed. This is the first PIN code we've ever gotten and the dates are perfect, so I'd sure like to use it.
