Question about Photo Packages and Magic Bands

Hi everyone,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, so apologies if I am in the wrong forum, but I have a question about magic bands and the photo packages at WDW.

We are doing a split stay December 30 - January 6. We are in Canada, so we don't get Magic Bands mailed in advance and will need to pick them up when we check in to AKL on December 30. I assume (please correct me) that the Magic Bands we get when we check in on December 30 will be good for our whole stay. Or do we have to get new Magic Bands when we check into Beach Club on January 1?

Also, if we purchase the photo package in advance, it will cover photos for our entire stay right? Or do we have two packages because of the split stay?

Your magic bands are good forever (although there is a battery in them which will eventually die, at which point you will lose some of the features of the band). I still have old bands and cards in my MDE that are still active. I don't know the answer to the photo package question.

Your magic band will be good the whole time;although, you will get a second one at the second hotel.
And the Memory Maker is good the whole time as well, I believe you can use it for 30 days.
My mom went a week after me and since she is linked to my account we got her pictures too! Make sure you purchase it before hand to save a little money. It's worth every penny I love having it!
