question about photo connect/star card

I just purchased the star card package and would like to clear up a few things I'm confused about.

1. Does Universal mail you your card and Lanyard or do you get that when you get to the photo connect kiosk at the park?


2. I understand that you have unlimited access to download as many pictures as you want with the star card from the Universal photo connect website, but do you have to pay anything extra with those downloads to get those pictures from your computer?


3. What do they mean when they say exclusive pricing on park photo prints---as low as $2.00 print. What does that exactly mean? Do ride photos cost extra? I thought the star card was one flat fee of $60.00


4. When I leave the park must I seek out a photo connect kiosk and check all my photos out. Same thing with entering the park, do I have to find a photo connect kiosk?


Just to clear one thing up, I will be there twice in a three day span to take advantage of the star card. Any help is appreciated.

A while back there was a big article on photo connect on the Orlando Informer. It cleared a lot of things up but it is somewhat a little confusing. I don't very much like the ideal of having to go to a kiosk first thing as the park opens.

What I was planning to do was download my DD from my computer when I got home form my trip. What do I need to order from them? Photos you mean of the rides ones?

I just ordered the photo connect last night with my park passes. I am not sure how they go about emailing you or what. That is what I am trying to figure out.

I am glad your excited!!! And yes your are helping me a great deal. I am very appreciative of everything. I read that article a few times but every time I seem to think I have it figured out, I get confused and back to square one I head. Trying to asking Universal reps on the phone doesn't really help all that much. Once again thanks for being a huge help.

This is what I read on another forum:

Once you preorder the Photo Connect Star card, we will send you an email with a barcode. You can bring that email to the park or we can search your order by using the email address you provided at checkout. We currently do not have any locations at the on site hotels but you can redeem your preorder in the City Walk Hub before heading to the park. If you miss the CW Hub, you can redeem it at any Photo Connect location. We recommend the CW Hub or one of the front gate locations at either park as soon as you enter. We hope to see you soon and happy connecting.

Make sure to check your spam. If you do not see it there, I'd suggest you contact them by emailing cs@amazingpictures.com or private messaging uophotoconnect. Don't worry though, they can still look up your email without you having to bring the confirmation.

Might be helpful for you if you haven't gotten your email yet. Even if you don't though they can look you up!!

Oh yeah!! I've been to the one in Hollywood but I don't remember it much and I went to Orlando after Hogsmeade first opened, and then about 4 times since!! We also went to the first Celebration of Harry Potter! I'm not obsessed!!

This trip is primarily Diagon Alley!!

I'm staying with my sister in Kissimmee though so no early entry this time!!

More on topic: I just bought the 3 day package online (YAY!!) and I received my email instantly!! I was saving the payment confirmation page (just in case) and the email popped up!! You may want to contact them if you're concerned!
