Question about paying for things on upcoming trip

Apologize if this is in the wrong spot or been discussed before. I'm still trying to learn the board and a quick search didn't bring up much. We have about $1500 in disney gift cards from previous trips, gifts, rewards, etc. I'm hoping to pay for the majority of things that way on the trip because we have no use for them outside of Disney. Plans are Food and Wine Festival, The Wave, BOG, 1900, Via Napoli and a few other places. Anything in there that I should plan on not using them for? I do know they have a gift card you can wear now for the Food and Wine Festival so I'm guessing we won't have an issue there. Any help is appreciated. If this needs to be moved or deleted I completely understand. Again, apologize if this shouldn't have been posted here!! Thanks again!!!

You shouldn't have any problems. I always bring gift cards for food and souvenirs and have never had an issue using them anywhere.

You can consolidate your gift card balances on the Disneygiftcard.com site. You'll be able to use the card at all the places you've listed.

I always use gift cards to purchase food and other things at Disney and never have a problem.

I have used gift cards to pay for entire trips (sans airfare and car rental of course) many times. Resort, park hoppers, meals, souvenirs, etc.

You can use as many individual cards as you would like or consolidate them all into one large card via disneygiftcard.com

Thanks everyone. I lived in Orlando for 7 years and Florida for over 20 and never really used gift cards as a main source before. I guess my biggest concern was food and wine festival as I like to eat my way around the world but when I saw that they had a gift card for the event that eased my concerns.

We use our Magic Bands and charge everything back to our room. Then every other day or so I go to the desk and apply the Gift Card to my room balance. It works wonderfully and is very easy.

I've done this. Love it this way, so easy to pay everything via magic band. Of course you should always have a back up payment available as sometimes their machines break down/there's a glitch and cant scan magic bands. But overall, its great paying this way.
