Question about paying for ressie.....

Is it true that if you made a room only ressie online that you cannot make any payments on it ahead of time or pay it off until you actually get to the resort? I read something about this one time but now I can't seem to find the post. Does anyone know if this is true. TIA for any information you can give.

When you getyour confirmation in the mail,it will tell you about making payments. I do no think that is true.

That is totally untrue. You can make any kind of payment (including in full) up until the time of arrival. We did this, and it worked out well for our budget. Whatever extra money we would come up with (even as small as $25.00) we would send to Disney right away (sometimes by check, sometimes by debit card). By the time we checked in, we only owed $110.00 on a $1300.00 reservation. This made it very easy and affordable for us. Hope this helps! Just send in your reservation # to the Disney resort with your payment, or call with number to make Credit card/debit card payment. Have fun!!

Well I booked 2 rooms under it for 2 different times, I was able to pay my first night deposite, and when I called to pay it off (2 different times) I was told I cant pay the balance off till I check in...
If Im allowed. I would pay them now...
