It never ceases to amaze me how many questions we come up with here on the DIS that make me think "wow, I never thought of that before". So here is mine:

I am tentatively planning a trip for next August or September with free dining (contingent of course it being offered again). I am also trying to justify spending money on a short trip this September. My thinking is that DH, DS and I could go this year and purchase 10-day passes with no expiration and use them again next year. I know with free dining you need to purchase at lease 1-day passes. Let's say that next year we also bring along an additional person. We would need to purchase four 1-day passes for the package. Is it possible for our additional person to use all four of the 1-day passes while we use ours left over from this year?

technically, although i think that falls under the 'non-transferrable' grey area. some will say it's okay because they've never been used. others won't, but there's nothing that would physically prevent it.
