Question about parking for Chef Mickey's

I am debating doing an early reservation at Chef Mickey's (7:00ish) and then spending the morning at the Magic Kingdom. I know parking in resort lots is not allowed except for while you are dining there. I really don't want to eat, move the car, and then go back to the Kingdom.

Can I park at the TTC and ride the monorial over? Will it be runing so early? Also, is it a long walk to the Contemporary? i know you can ski- right into the Poly from there.

Thanks!

This is a real 'hot topic' here. So...while you are allowed to park at a resort while eating, it is not acceptable to use their parking lot while at a park. So, your best bet would be to use the monorail over to the Contemporary. My only concern is that the monorail starts around 7ish. I would suggest getting a seating closer to 7:30 or so, just to be on the safe side. Or, if you are staying at a WDW resort, just taking an early bus to MK and then walking to the CR. It's about an 8 min walk...very easy, it runs between the Contemporary and MK, underneath the monorail line for the most part.
If you are at a WDW resort, take the MK bus around 6:15 or so, hop off and then walk to breakfast.

To be on the safe side maybe you could make your ADR for like 7:30 AM or something around that time, because if you choose to park at the TTC it will give you more time to take the Resort Monorail. Before arriving at the Contemporary it goes to the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom. Then again if you are staying onsite at a WDW Resort which is not on the Magic Kingdom Resort Monorail line, you could take the advise of Diane and take the Magic Kingdom bus very early and from there walk over to the Contemporary.

Walking from the MK bus loop to the Contemorary was very easy. We did it in October with our kids (8 & 11). It was not long at all 5-10 minutes max.

Another option if your breakfast is really early, especially if you are staying off property and have to drive, is to park at TTC, and walk to Poly to catch the resort monorail. The resort monorail often starts running earlier than the express, just because of people trying to get to ADR's. Allow about 15 minutes to get to Poly from TTC, and 20-30 minutes travel time once you arrive at Poly. You should plan on walking to the front door of the Great Ceremonial House, in case they are still requiring KTTW to use the other doors (I believe they turn that off around 7am).

When we were at the Polynesian, we had a 7:30 ADR at Chef Mickeys. We were out on the monorail platform at 7:00 exactly, the monorail came along about 2 mins later. The pilot told us we were on the first run of the day. I wouldn't count on the monorail to get you to CM's for a 7:00 seating.
Where are you staying?
