Question about Palo brunch dress code

When I was on the Magic last September I remember being able to wear nice shorts/top to brunch at Palo - We are on the 8/31/02 Magic and while I was looking at some recent navigators it now says no shorts. Any recent cruisers know if they are really enforcing that or not. I would like to do it on Key West day but really dont want to get dressed in pants/dress for brunch and then have to change to shorts/sneakers to tour Key West.

You may be in luck--isn't brunch served only on at-sea days?

I think it is also served in the morning before getting into Key West. Yes, I just check my recent Navigator from our 8/3 cruise....on Sunday (Key West), brunch is served 10:30-12:30. On sea days it's 10:30 - 1:00.

I wore Capri's and a nice top. Did not see any shorts...mostly sundresses, slacks, etc.
