How far in advance do you have to buy your tickets to get the discount??

Let me explain.....I am heading down, but would like to buy my tickets with my Disney Dollars. So is the day before ok?

We purchased our tickets in Oct. for January (Adults $31.90 ea. with tax which was like about a $15 discount I think)! At the time we purchased, the advanced purchase discount was only good thru Dec. 16. I'm sorry, but I don't think you will find a discount by purchasing the day before. I believe these special discounted tickets are sold for a short period of time and well in advance of the actual event date as pre-orders... You should call or look online to see what's available ahead of time for when you're going down! I would rather save the $15 ea. and use the Disney Dollars for something else if I could do that!
