Question about owning at different resorts

If you have points at more than one resort how does the 7-11 month window work? Say I have 250 at BCV and 50 at WLV can I make a reservation at the WLV 11 months out if it would cost more than 50 points or do I have to wait until the 7 month window.

Sorry so many questions but this is all a lot to take in. We really want to make sure that we purchase our points properly.

At the 11-month window, you can only book your 50 VWL points at VWL, and your 250 BCV points at BCV.

You can combine them at the 7-month window and book at any DVC resort.

You can use 50 points at VWL at the 11 month window, and 250 at BCV at 11 months. You can't use the 250 BCV for a VWL ressie until the 7 month window.
At 7 months you can mix and match at will.

Now, with banking and borrowing only your VWL points you can have 150 points at VWL every third year. All of those points can be used for a VWL ressie at the 11 month window.
In the mean time you can use your BCV points in a normal fashion.
