Question about Orlando/Sanford airports and resorts

For us, we realize we're paying more for transportation from Sanford but its well worth it...we are booking a car service instead of renting because we don't want to waste our time dropping off a car then picking one up again, etc, we're staying at POP so we'd have to travel back and forth to the Dolphin...just not worht it to us, because we only have one precious week and don't want to waste a minute! But a big reason for us is that the airport that we fly Allegiant out of is literally right up the street! We can see the airport and tower out of our upstairs window! Now that's close!!:)

Allegiant flys fro the old Pease AFB. Is that close to Boston. That might be Bangor, Maine and if it is, that is the closest to Boston.

I priced from Sanford to the Disney Car Care Center (not sure which resort that's in). For a economy it's $39.. for midsize it's $45. Much cheaper than car service or taxi, and you can stop wherever you want and have the car overnight too.
The driver from Sanford to WDW is really easy.

We've used Allegiant Air and Sanford Airport twice - both times we rented a car. For us, especially the 2nd time, it was convenient to have a vehicle, since we had a little one and needed an off-site shopping day for extra supplies. The drive from Sanford to Disney is not bad. But we had friends who used a shuttle service during Christmas holidays and said service was great.

The former Pease Air Force Base, located about 50 miles north of Boston, is now Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT).

Allegiant Air does not serve Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.

Allegiant Air serves Bangor, Maine, but that's around 240 miles north of Boston.

Several airlines provide connecting service from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport to Orlando International, and Southwest provides nonstop service.

No airline currently flies from Manchester (or elsewhere in the Boston region) to Orlando-Sanford Airport. As goofy4tink noted, a small airline that reused the legendary PanAm name and logo flew from Worcester to Orlando-Sanford a number of years ago. But they've ceased operations.
