Question about ordering groceries

So excited, Grandparents are taking my family to WDW in July! There will be 9 of us total staying at Bay Lake. We have one vegan and one diabetic, so we are considering cooking/eating in our room (which has kitchen). I see that Garden Grocer delivers. I also saw something about a special Amazon Pantry service. Any thoughts or previous experiences you would like to share? It's been a few years for us, I recall reading that people would have cases of bottled water sent to their rooms in advance, does that still work?

We always do a big Garden Grocer order for our arrival day. We time it so the order gets there before our arrival, and after checking in we have a bellman deliver it to our room. For water we get the 32 pack of Dasani 16.9 oz to drink in the room and bring to the parks. At $10.99 for the 32, or $0.34 each, quite a bit cheaper than buying individual bottles in the park. Another nice thing about Garden Grocer is that you can order beer just by uploading a photo of your license when you place the order.

I've heard good reviews about both Garden Grocer and Amazon. I would just check the prices for the items you need and then go with the least expensive one.

Note: Disney recently implemented a policy where they now charge $6 for Bell Services to deliver your grocery order to your room. You can pick it up from Bell Services at no additional cost.

We used Instacart/Publix and had a great experience. The shopper texts in real time if something isn't available so he/she can get a substitute product. Our driver texted us when he was on his way to the resort and when he arrived. I met him outside the resort to pick up the groceries. No bell services involved.

Thanks! That all sounds good. I had read somewhere about the fee for bell service delivery. I thought I had read $6 per box! Glad to know there is a work around!

I’ve used both Garden Grocer and Instacart and much prefer GG. Instacart delivered the wrong order and I had to argue with them for 2 days to get my money back. I won’t use them again.

I’ve used Instacart the last 2 years and recommend it! Much cheaper than garden grocer! Was going to try Prime but they kept changing availability of the items I wanted.

I normally use instacart new accounts will give you free delivery they are great.... this last time I used walmart delivery/door dash it was a really great experience they had everything we wanted.
Amazon prime now does not always have everything you want. But they are good for things you need now or you forgot. They have food milk sunscreen etc. They deliver between the even hours so 2-4 4-6 or you can pay extra for in the hour

We use Amazon and love it!!!! Jut remember to pick up your bags or you will pay for bell service to deliver it. We place our order before we board our plane when we leave. I have no complaints!

We used Amazon Prime now and it was great.
