Question about old tickets

We're planning on going back to WDW in October. I have 3 tickets from when we went 5 years ago that still have 1 day left on them. Problem is, is that I didn't think to write our names on them and I don't know whose ticket is whose. I am wanting to scan the tickets into my account but I don't know who to link them to. What do I do?!?!

Don't worry about it.
Just put whichever ticket in... connected to whichever name you like.

If there is any problem at the gate (unlikely,) they can remedy the situation there.
(Which is what you would have to do if you just used the tickets at the gates, as-is.)

I used to work at the front gate and Robo is correct. If you have ANY issues what-so-ever, the guest relations cast members standing there will be able to correct the situation in a heart-beat! You're all good!

We had old non expirable paper tickets last time we went. The front gate ticket takers sent us to guest relations to get them turned into new tickets. Each of them had to be reset with a name and a finger print. At that point, it didn't matter whose was whose. The four of us just picked a character picture and they put our names in the tickets and did the fingerprint. It didn't take long at all.

A couple of caveats: unless you added the no expire option to the tickets 5 years ago, they expired 14 days after first use. Also, are you only going for 1 day or do you have other tickets because you cannot add any more days to these tickets for your upcoming trip.

So, wondering, if I had an old ticket non expiry ticket from the mid '90's, that has a blurry pic of someone who is no longer around, would they still let me get the new type ticket and reset it with my name and finger print?

There's a good chance.
It can depend on the CM.
I'd try add that ticket into your MyDisneyExperience account now.
(If you don't have one, create one.)
You can access your MDE info (with ticket) via a plastic RFID ticket that
you can get at WDW.
Or, you can buy a MagicBand, if you like (if you don't already have one.)

If you can't input the old ticket yourself, call WDW IT for assistance.
Don't volunteer any extra information.
