I have never been and thinking of going in December and surprising my mom with the trip. Boscov's has a trip there and we are going to go on that. My question is, what do you normally wear to this show? I looked at their website and it said there is no dress code, use your best judgement :confused3
I was thinking of wearing dark wash jeans with a sweater and knee high boots (or ankle boots...not sure yet), but is that too casual? Should I be wearing dress pants instead?

Thanks!!

Have a great time. It is very casual and your jeans will be perfect. I did dress up my daughter when we went just so she could get an extra use out of her Christmas dress.

Thank you!!! When it said use your best judgement I didn't want to stand out of the crowd!!!

I'm excited to go....my mom had been to the easter one years and years ago (which I see they no longer have according to the website) and she still talks about it. She has always wanted to see the christmas show and christmas is my absolute favorite holiday!! So this should be fun!

Dress in something comfortable. If you go on a weekend there are shows practically back to back. People stand in a long line outside of theater waiting to get in. If you are from out of town dress for the weather and for whatever else you will be doing. You will see people in evertying from velvet dresses and heels to track pants and running shoes.

On an unrelated note, buy the best tickets you can afford. The theater is HUGE and you will want to be as close as you can afford.

Thanks!! We will be going on a bus group - with Boscov's. They have the tickets for the group - I think orchestra section.

Jeans and a sweater are just fine. When we went, there was everything from fairly dressy dresses/suits to jeans and t-shirts. I'd plan to dress comfortably above all because after the show you'll probably have some time to walk around Manhattan and have something to eat, and you definitely want to be comfortable for that.
