Question about november vs. december visit

Hello,

I currently have reservation for the weekend before thanksgiving in November of 2005, but I am considering changing them to the 2nd weekend in December of 2005 to get the value season rates. We went in January of this year and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds for our first 2 days. We would like to have this experience again. January is not going to work again due to worries about the weather. We barely got out this year and I do not want to chance it again. The chances of a bad storm are less in November, early December. I know that this is far away, but I am a big time planner and we need the time to save up. We have 4 kids and will be taking 3 of them out of school for 2 days in order to visit. My oldest will be 8 and the youngest 2.5. We are just looking to have the smallest crowds and save some money.

Early Dec would be my choice because of Xmas decorations and MVMCP. Crowds are reasonable until school let out around 12/18.

We have been to WDW with our 3 children at both times of year (nov. & early Dec.) Our favorite is early December. Very low crowds and great x-mas decorations. Like "hoosll" mentioned, you can get tickets to Mickey's Christmas party - which the kids will LOVE!!! The Osborne light display at Disney Studios is unbelievable (complete with "snow") and Epcot is completely decked out as well. My kids loved seeing the different Santa's in Epcot (each country had their own traditional Santa.)

Weather is mixed. During the day we had temps as warm as 80 but one night it got down to the 30's! Pack accordingly and you will have a great time!
