My DS, age 25, is autistic but loves to ride thrill rides. I cannot rise Mission:Space because I am claustrophobic, and I have never ridden Star Tours because simulators make me sick.

Is there a way i can stand outside the door of these two rides and put him on, wait, and get him off, or will they tell me No.

Just wondering.

Mission space you can escort him past the video to the actual capsule. Then you will walk thorough and wait outside the exit door (inside the building and air conditioning).

Not sure on star tours where you drop away, but I think they have you walk thorough the simulator and wait outside the other side.

Should add: in both cases you can be with him pretty much the entire time except on the ride itself.

Cm's are good at helping too. I had no trouble with my son.

Thank you, good to know. I could maybe go on M:S, but not Star Tours unless I close my eyes or take dramamine! :rotfl2:

Be sure to take the CM at ride loading aside and explain what you want to do.
(S)he will be able to assist you/tell you how to wait for your son.
