Question about new member Registration?

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can answer a question for me.

My DH recently tried to register on the DIS. He's been waiting for the email with the link to gain access to the boards and hasn't received it yet.

How long should it take? I registered so long ago I forget.

If it's past the "normal" wait time, how do we go back and make sure his email address is correct or what ever else might be the problem???

The activation emails are automatically sent immediately upon registering.

If he's using an AOL account, he's probably a victim of AOL's really poorly behaved spam filtering. They tend to filter these automated emails, and it's a constant headache for us here.

One thing that seems to help to foil the spam filter is to add the address "webmaster@wdwinfo.com" to your AOL email address book. This seems to tell the system that it's okay to deliver mail from that address.
