Our 2 1/2 year old dd twins are requiring breathing treatments again. They've been on Pulmicort for a few weeks now, and we haven't had to do any Xopenex since we started that. I'm worried that the change in climate could exacerbate their breathing problems. I'm taking our nebulizer to the parks with us just in case they need a treatment.

Will I need to get it added on to our GAC to be able to use the first aid center? One of them really spazzes so I want to have some place semi-private to go.

I'm looking for other parents' experience with this. Thanks in advance. :)

No, you don't need anything to use First Aid. It is available to anyone who has need. They do keep a log of who used it, so you have to sign in when you arrive, but that's it.
Just go there and tell the greeter what you need to do. They will offer you a room where you can do the treatment. They have cubicles with a cot, chair, bedside table and a privacy curtain; they also have actual rooms with a door that can be shut (Kind of like a doctor's exam room).
You can also store equipment at First Aid until you need it. Just tell them you would like to store it there. They will have you fill out a slip for it and then store it until you need to come back and use it or get it to leave the park.

Thanks for the info, SueM. I really appreciate it. I'm hoping they don't need any rescue treatments, but we just never know. I pack it up and take it everywhere with us.

That's good that they will store it for us. I think we will try that so we don't have to carry it around. :)

One thing, if you have a medical emergency, ask the nearest CM to call 911. The Reedy Creek Fire and Rescue has a team backstage in each park, with a specially equipped golf cart. They can get to you a lot faster than you can get a kid to First Aid, unless you are very close.
