Question about Narcoosee's and the DDP

Is everything on the menu at Narcoosee's included in the Dining Plan....particularly the lobster and the surf and turf?

I am considering adding this restaurant to our ADR list and am really hoping that the lobster entrees are included.

Yes-everything is inc. First time we dined there with DDP the server made a point of saying lobster was inc. We had the surf and turf and went back last year to do it again!

Yep, we did the surf and turf in April. Yumm...can't wait till September to do it again!!

We LOVED Narcoossees. DH had the surf & Turf, I had the whole lobster. We shared bites and both decided that the turf was wonderful but my whole lobster was a step above the tail in his surf & turf. The best thing about the whole lobster is that it is cracked open and ready to eat with no mess. To us it was well worth the 2 TS credits. We would definately go again! Enjoy!

Read on this board that you can substitute scallops for either the lobster or the fillet!

Just a warning that the cheese plate can't be ordered for dessert on the deluxe plan. We were able to enjoy it for dessert last year on the regular plan so I was disappointed not to be able to do so on the deluxe this year.

And frankly, I was ticked that our server didn't advise us of that at the beginning of the meal. I would have ordered it for my appetizer if I'd known.

yes, lobster is included on DDP at narcoosees!

i had the whole lobster there twice in october - sooooo good!

I was just there May 9th and had the Surf and Turf. I wish I had known then to ask if I could switch the lobster for scallops. I love scallops and while the steak was wonderful, the lobster tail was only so so. I've heard the whole lobster was much better. We are dining there again in Sept and can't wait. That almond cheesecake was the best dessert I've ever had in my life and that steak was the best steak I had all week (including the ones I had at Yatchsman, California Grill, or Le Cellier). I was on the DxDDP, so had alot of desserts that week, but that cheesecake was the best thing I put in my mouth all week long. Because I was on the DxDDP and am not a breakfast eater, I used the DDP to dine in a Signature restaurant every night that week. Narcoosee was my favorite meal of all of them.

Do you think we can request without sauce for the plainer eaters amongst us?

It does have a sauce, but I'm sure you can get it without the sauce. The sauce is a basic flavor, nothing too fancy.

I totally agree about the cheesecake-I would go back to Narcoossee's just for it alone! Here's a pix so you'll know what we're talking about.

Our last trip two of us had the surf & turf and the other three had the whole lobster.

We also had the mussels, lobster bisque, and shrimp cocktails for appetizers.

Two of us had the chesscake, wow!.

I think our total bill would have been around $480 if we werent on the DP.

We liked it so much that we ate there twice and pretty much had the same meals.
