If I understand correctly, when using a dark transfer everything that is left clear or white on the image or uncut off the transfer will turn out white on the shirt. Is this info correct? If so, on name fill designs, how do you cut around the name so that there's not a lot of white showing? There's a lot of nooks and crannies where the letters are close to one another; just wondering if everyone trims closely around edges or just cuts out a rectangular shape around the letters. Does anyone happen to have any pictures they can post? Thanks!

I have seen some that they cut them out individually and they look fantastic! If you have the patience for that, I would suggest that.

Here are some we made where I just cut "loosely" around the letters. That way it didn't have a ton of white around it. I liked the way they turned out.

Your t-shirts look great! Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm assuming by the bottom of your signature that your Amy Mickey who I just ordered transfers from for the first time to try my hand at iron on shirts. I was so impressed by the delivery time. You're awesome!!

It looks like by searching "name fill shirts" I have discovered most of my answer to my iron-on question!

So with name fills you can cut out each individual letter and iron them on separately? Oh, the stress of getting it on there nice and straight!

or put it on a shirt that is the same color as the image background (or as close as you can get) Colorful images pop on a white T
