Question about MVMCP

We have reservations for early Dec. for VWL to see all the Christmas decorations -- our first holiday trip. My parents also have reservations for the same time at the WL. I noticed they just released the dates of MVMCP, and would love to go one night. Due to health reasons, we are not sure if this trip is going to happen for my parents. What I was wondering is how far in advance is required to get tickets for MVMCP? Does it sell out, or can we get the tickets down there when we arrive?

My dd and I made a last minute trip in Dec last year. We started booking it in early Nov. We got tickets for MVMCP for a Sunday show about 21 days before. I think the later Friday evenings might sell out faster. I believe only 2 Friday nights got sold out last year. You should be safe in not buying until much later. You can even get them when you get there, as long as you aren't looking for a popular Friday.

When I was there this past December, we got tickets once we arrived. One of the days (I think it was Friday) was sold out, but we were able to get in on Sunday. You should be able to get the tickets when you arrive.

The only thing about waiting until you arrive, is the price of the ticket is slightly higher.

You could call a few days before going and order them. Perhaps you could pick them up when you arrive.

I've heard some nights do sell out early, I bought our tickets in April last year..
