Question about multiple transfers

I am new to transferring and had a question. I read on an FAQ sheet online (not an official disney site) that you can only transfer out or transfer in points once per use year, but not both. No problem.

the site then went on to say that you could transfer points in multiple time or transfer points out multiple times in the same UY, just not both.

Does anyone know if that is true?

I think I get the rest of the most common rules. You can't transfer borrowed or banked points, however once points are transferred into your account, you can bank them into the next year, is that correct?

That is correct. This is how things have been for the past few years.

That is how it used to be before they changed the rules a few years ago so this info was true at one time but is no longer the case.

You cannot transfer banked points but you can transfer current points and the recipient can then bank them. I don't know whether borrowed points can be transferred. Someone more knowledgeable about point transfers will have to answer that one!

I do not think you can transfer borrowed point either. When points are trasfered, they keep their orginal UY and resort. As stated earlier, they can be banked by the person who received them.

And you cannot borrow transferred points. So if you transferred in points into you next UY, you'd have to wait to use them for a reservation during that time or you could bank them into your next UY and use them then.

One other thing: You can transfer points from only your current or next Use Year. For example, if you have a March UY you are now (in Dec 2011) in your 2011 UY and you can transfer 2011 or 2012 (or both) UYs. Your (only allowed) 2011 transfer would go to another member's 2011 UY, and the 2012 transfer to 2012.
