Question about multi-day parkhoppers

I see in the new discounts for 2013 being discussed here that the total price (not per day, but total) for 3 day park hopper pass is essentially the same all the way up to 7 day park hopper passes? (and 4 day even cheaper than 3 day). Is that common? Am I reading it right? Would it also be true even if non-discounted? Thanks!

I haven't looked a whole lot at the numbers themselves, but there are people on that thread saying the numbers don't make sense and/or are more than the normal rates and it's supposed to be a discount.

I'd just wait and see what comes out early January.
