Question about mugs at All Star Sports

A little while back I heard something about Disney trying out a new system with their refillable mugs at the resorts and they were going to start trying it at All Star Sports. We are staying there in a month a were wondering if this new system was implemented and how it was working out if they were using it. We always buy our mugs thumbsup2) so that is not the issue. I just want to know what to expect.

it was in use when we were there oct 13-15. it was for the soda/powerade dispensers. coffee and iced tea were not affected. we bought the mugs and they worked fine. there is a black circular type thing hanging off each dispenser, and you put your mug on there to dispense your beverage of choice. not sure when the trial period ends.

Does this mean the cups are coded somehow on the bottom and the dispenser will only work if the electric code or whatever there is, is recognized?

I read somewhere recently that the trial would end in late december and they would evaluate the results.
