Ok so I have taken a long break from the boards and Disney, NOT BY CHOICE I MIGHT ADD!
I love Disney and I am addicted to disney, I eat, drink, sleep, dream, and do everything else disney, however we have had to take a break due to finances changing when we became a 6 person family in February of this year with our 2 nephews moving in with us and us taking legal guardianship over them.
So with the time away there is something I need some info about.
I wanted to know if during MTOTP if the rides in the park are open along with all the other festivities?
I can't remember and I am really hoping so because with the cost being so cheap and my husband still having a valid AP untill October 19th we are thinking that we could go ahead and at least pay the $26.00 per ticket AP price and least get a little Disney in since I miss it so much and it is soooooooooo much cheaper for all 6 of us to go to that at $26.00 per ticket verses what it cost for a day for the 6 of us.
Also this is not really abut disney but it does not hurt to ask, because maybe someone will have an answer or know of a place.
I know that there are foundations out there that grant wishes to terminally ill children but does anyone know if there are foundations that grant wishes for young children who have gone through horrific abuse at the hands of their biological parents as well as losing their biological parents to the prison system?
Just a thought??
Our nephews are only 5 and 6 and went through some horrible things and really badly want to a trip DL because they have heard us talking about our trips and also now have seen all our photos seeing as how they live with us.
We thought maybe we would be able to at least take them on a over night trip there but that just has not been possible seeing as how adding 2 boys to our family with the income we had has made things really tight and we did not realize that it would cost us so much to go through the court system for all the legal stuff and guardianship, so I got to thinking that maybe there was a program out there like the ones that grant wishes for ill children who might do the same for children with my nephews circumstances?
Thanks in advance for all the answers to my questions.
And Hello again to everyone!!! It feels ggod to be logged back in after so long.....just had been way too busy with all the changes and you know the children always come first!
