Question About Monster Cafe

I know its not a gourmet restaurant but I thought it would be cool to eat at Monster Cafe on Oct. 31st and then go to HHN. However, I saw its only open "seasonally". Does anyone know what this means? I think Oct. 31st is value season so does that mean it won't be open? Is there somewhere I can check online or call to see if it will be open. I really think the Monster Cafe should be open on Halloween!!

We always go during value season (Oct. or 1st part of Dec.) and it has always been open, but it closes early.

I remember in December we went to eat dinner there at about 4:00 and it was closed.

In Oct, we ate there at lunch around 1:00 and it was open.

If your planning on eating there right before HHN, it may not be open. However, since it is HHN they may have it open later for people to eat.

I would check with Guest Services upon arrival or grab a Park Scheule and verify there hours.

Hope this helps!

We were there for one Holloween , can't remember if it was 2003 or 2002 and it was closed during the week. However, it was open on the weekend.

It was open last year on halloween, but was closed all week during halloween 2002. I guess I let the little things bug me too much :D but I did have to complain to guest services about it. I mean come on! they have a monster themed restaurant that out of ALL the days in the year they close on HALLOWEEN! their little sign said try Finnigans instead. HA! last time I had checked it was halloween not St. Patricks day! whoever made the decision on that one apparently didn't have a clue I suppose... one year I believe it was 2000 or 2001 the Monster cafe was packed out on halloween night. I remember they had a "blood bar" set up outside the restaurant. it was really cool. I'm really excited about this years HHN's. I had so hoped they would bring it back to the studios with the parade and they did. yippee! anyways, I will be there again this year and can't wait. got my frequent fear passes this week. :) Linda

I agree 100%!! Hope its open this year. Being Halloween is on a Sunday, maybe it will be open since its the weekend. Also, I want to go for lunch so that might help me out too. Probably about 1:00 or 2:00. Thanks everyone for the info. I feel better. I think our chances are good that it will be open!!
