I have a question about modifying reservations. I called Disney this morning to see if I had a pin-code associated with my name (no such luck) because my Dad just got the 40% off code. Now, of course I will do my best to convince my parents that they need to go to Disney and book 2 rooms, but I am thinking about going ahead and booking with the AAA discount myself.
The CM I spoke with said I could book with the AAA discount, and then if I get the code I can call back and modify the reservations. OK, no problem, that much I know. But, he also said if I convince my Dad to go, I can modify my existing reservation with his pin-code because he is allowed to book 2 rooms. I said, "He won't have to make a new reservation himself since this one would be in my name and the pin-code is in his name?" He said no. That doesn't make sense to me...if my Dad is the only one allowed to use the pin, how can we modify a reservation in my name? I thought the reservation would have to be in his name. Could it be that the CM thought we lived in the same house, or can this really be done?
I've gotten misinformation from a few CMs before, so I'm not quick to believe something that doesn't sound quite right. Thanks for any help!
