Just back and we had a great time. But i couldnt figure out what the deal with MNSSHP was. The park closes three hours early and then we have to pay 25 euro each to get back in ? or have i got this wrong. As it happened my kids were too tired by that time so we didnt try.

MNSHP is a Separate Ticket event like the Christmas party where the park closes at 7 pm for the party. They actually let you in at 4pm and give you a braclet to show you paid for it. On halloween they have speical events like free candy.

Most people dont go during the day for this and just go to the party.

Except in Paris they don't hand out the free candy. As it is a ticketed event the park is a lot quieter than during the day so the rides you would have waited for in the day time are walk ons. They put on extra little shows and a small parade. There are more costumed characters out in their halloween clothes as well.

They do hand out sweets - this applied throughout our recent trip as well as the MNSSHP - we now have plenty of Haribos to last us for ages!

I actually was surprised at how busy MNSSHP was on Tuesday - most of the rides weren't walk ons...BTM had 20min queues practically constantly.

But yes, loads of characters including some really different ones.

As there are 5 of us, if I had paid EUR 25.00 each I would have felt pretty ripped off but as we have dream AP's we paid EUR 12.50 each, which seemed a bit more reasonable.

On tuesday, Mulan stood outside Its a small world with people just walking passed her.

The main show at 10pm was difficult to see as the spotlights were so bright and the show with Merlin was very busy

Plenty of dragoon Haribo

£100 for the 4 of us - only 3 packs of Haribo :confused3 but all rides were walk on, we didn't watch any of the shows except the end of the night calvacade, saw lots of characters and I got my pic taken with Maleficent, which made it worthwhile :thumbsup2
I was disappointed at how few people dressed up but surprised at how quickly the time went, glad we did it but I wouldn't do it again.
If we go again at Halloween it will be on Halloween night itself, I think we'd be more suited to the Terrorific night in the Studios, with the boys being older. :)

I loved MNSSHP this year, but we weren't there last week, we went to the first one on 8th October. Every ride was a walk-on, and once you had your wristband you could ride to your hearts content (the lands closed at 6pm that day for non-party guests when the park day finished, but with a wristband you could go to the rides and just keep going :goodvibes).

Once 8pm came and the official party started, I couldn't believe how quick the time seemed to go! We caught all the shows that night, met loads of characters, did all the open rides we wanted, and left the park at after 11.30pm, and there were still folk in the park then chasing characters :wizard:.

I paid £34 for our 2 tickets as we have Fantasy Passes, but I thought it was totally worth it, and would definitely do it again! My DD is 9 and not into big thrill rides, still likes chasing characters, and for those reasons, MNSSHP was a big hit for us.

We really enjoyed MNSSHP at DLP. We had our faces painted and the queues were non-existent. Our only gripe was the lack of candy given out. They're so generous with it at WDW so it was a bit of a shock!
